Christmas 2014

December was another great month for our family.  Charlotte has changed so much since my last post.  She has a big personality. Definitely all girl!  She was able to see Santa on two different occasions.  The first was at the Enchanted Forest here in Memphis, and the second Santa visit was at "school."  Her initial visit was unsuccessful, to say the least. (Basically, she screamed the entire time.)  We were not present for the Santa visit at school, but her teachers told us she did very well.  I am not sure I believe her teachers, but they did give us a picture of her in Santa's lap. :)

Matt was off Christmas but had to work the following day, so we stayed close to the house.  It was our year to be with my family, so everyone decided to come to us.  Having everyone here was amazing!  I cooked a beef tenderloin on Christmas Eve, and we had a large family dinner (which included Uncle Jim and Aunt Beth).  Christmas morning we opened presents, and Charlotte played with all of her new toys from Santa.  That afternoon we went to the Breazeale's house for another big meal.  All in all, it was a great Christmas!

The following week Matt's parents came to town.  We went downtown for an early New Year's Eve dinner.  Charlotte was with us, so we were not out too late.  Again, she received some new toys (including a Cozy Coupe which she loves).  The next week she spent most of her time playing with the toys given to her by "Annie and Grandaddy."

Below are some pictures taken by Shelley and Mom.  I was way too busy cooking/cleaning to take pictures.  Glad they did!

Even after a long day she still can't stop smiling!  We love our little girl!
