Shortly after my last post we packed our bags and headed south to Fort Lauderdale with Grandma and Pop. Charlotte had her first experience on an airplane, and she did extremely well. The trip to Florida involved a single stop in Tampa with about an hour and a half layover. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky on our return flight. Due to technical difficulties we were re-routed through Chicago and Houston. Charlotte handled to whole day of travel well. We were all exhausted when we finally arrived home that night, though.
Thanksgiving came and went rather quickly this year. We stayed in town for the actual holiday because of Matt's work schedule. Mom and Dad drove to town and we spent the holiday with our extended family, which was extremely nice. The following weekend we packed up the car for a weekend road trip to Louisiana. Everyone was still in town due to the holiday, so we all were able to see lots of family in a short amount of time (see pics below).
