Summer is Here

Last night I was looking back at pictures of Charlotte on my phone and realized I desperately needed to give our blog an update.  April was filled with lots of family and great weather!

Here is our living room.  It is coming together.  We have a chair and ottoman on order (It will go where Charlotte's PB chair is currently located), but we are lacking curtains.  One day we will have it all completed!

Shortly after Easter Matt's parents came to Memphis for a visit.  Mrs. Ann was here all week, and Mr. Mark was in an out of town on business.  We filled the week with lots of sightseeing and some shopping, too.  (The pictures below were taken at the zoo and at the Memphis Botanic Gardens.)

                                 

The following week Matt was on vacations, so we packed up the car and headed to Oxford/Columbus for several days.  Our first day in Oxford was a full one.  We went to Double Decker and then to the Ole Miss/Alabama baseball game.  Charlotte actually let us stay for the entire ballgame (which was a big surprise).  The game was followed by a fireworks show.  We stayed for just a bit because she wasn't really a big fan.

The next day we were off to Grandma and Pop's house in Columbus.  This kid had a blast!
