Summer at our House

Matt is on call today, so I am busy trying to catch up on chores around the house.  Thought I would take a quick break from cleaning to write a new post.  This past week started off with book club at Megan's house.  I want to give a shout out to Megan for a great book club! :)  Our 4th of July this year was fabulous.  This is mainly because we were both off work.  I don't think we took showers until 5pm...  Last night we cooked hamburgers from Fresh Market (portobello and gouda).  They were yummy!  After dinner we sat on our back porch for about an hour.  I reminded Matt of the years we spent in Shreveport wishing we had a back patio.  Then I started talking about our blog.  It may not be the most interesting thing, but it is a way for us to keep track of all of the places we have been and things we have done.  In keeping with this theme I am posting several pictures that I took around our house today.  Nothing particularly special...just a way to document what things looked like at our house in Jackson during the summer of 2012.

I forgot to mention a couple other important bits of information.  This week Matt officially started his 3rd year of residency.  Only 2 more to go!
