Happy Fall everyone! Lots of exciting things have been happening since my previous blog post. Most recently, we attended a wedding for Victor Jordan and Amanda Herbert in Baton Rouge, LA. The wedding was this past Friday. Unfortunately, Matt and I both had to work. I took a 1/2 day off, and Matt was let off a little early. So, we were able to change and make in to the church on time. We had a wonderful visit with Rachel and Josh as well as Mr. Mark and Mrs. Ann. The wedding also allowed us to see lots of great friends.
Last weekend we were in Monroe, LA for the wedding of Chartolle Bradford and Edward Shaw. They were both friends of Matt in college. Charlotte, however, grew up with my good friend from college, Arabella Montgomery Moore. The wedding allowed us to stay with James and Arabella Moore in their new house in Monroe. It was a great weekend, and the fall weather was perfect for an outdoor reception. Overall, two good weekends of weddings in a row!
We also received great news from several of our friends this week. Lots of babies due over the next 9 months... Quick "shout out" to - Tom & Ashley (due any day now), Ryan & Jenny (due any day now), Brad & Sarah, Robin and Kristen, Hunter and Caroline, Jon and Leah, and Alan and India. I see lots of baby showers in the future! Such exciting news for everyone!
Work is still going well for both of us. Matt is unfortunately up at the hospital on call today. This requires him to stay at the hospital for 24hrs. It does, however, give me the time to grocery shop, clean the house, and catch up on my blog posting.
Expect lots of new blog posts in the future. The holidays are always a great time to take pictures! Hope everyone has a great week!
