Sometimes I forget that we live in Jackson now and not Shreveport. So, when Matt got his schedule this month and found out this week he was going to be working nights in the pediatric ER I automatically thought - "This stinks...now we can't go to the game." Fortunately, Mom and Matt both told me I should come up anyway, so that is what I did. Yesterday after work I got in the car and headed up to Oxford for the first time this year. I met up with Hollee and Amanda at Volta last night, and we had a great time eating dinner and visiting there.
Today was a hot but very nice day in the Grove. Unfortunately, we lost the game. The day was a lot of fun, though. I sat with Mom and Dad during the game, too.
Tonight is Matt's last consecutive night (of 5) in the ER. He has been working from 7P-7A, so we have not seen much of each other. I am looking forward to spending a relaxing day at home tomorrow!
We're so glad you came to Oxford. Yes, we missed Matt and hopefully ya'll can both come up again soon! You're much closer now! :) Terrible game but it was wonderful having you there!
