So, after the rain cleared out this afternoon I decided I would go ahead and do some decorating. It was a great afternoon with wonderful weather - perfect for fall decorations. The people at the Farmer's Market on Old Fannin were a big help, and I got some real good things. (See pictures below.) I also took out our fall decoration box which had lots of good things in it (most of which I had forgotten about). Overall great day! Now Toby and I are looking forward to Matt getting home from work tonight! We have red beans and rice on the stove and are about to watch some Sunday night TV.
Also, I forgot that I had promised master bedroom pics and had not posted them. (Thanks for reminding me Shelley.) The furniture is dark brown even though it looks more black in the pictures. I couldn't really figure out the lighting either, but you get the idea. You can also see the new curtains in the background. These are the ones that mom and I made on Labor Day weekend. Things are definitely starting to come together!
