Good morning everyone! Happy Halloween to you and Happy Birthday to Jill. The weather is absolutely beautiful here which is quite a change from what we have been dealing with lately. Fortunately, we were not washed or blown away by the storms that came through earlier this week. The sad part is that we had to cancel our (coworkers) annual pumpkin carving party which was scheduled for Thursday night. It was a good thing the party was cancelled because the street of the house where it was to be held was flooded!
Matt and I got in bed fairly early last night because we were exhausted. For those of you who do not know, Toby sleeps in a crate next to our bed. The best part is that he will sleep as long as we stay in bed. The three of us slept for about 10 hours, and it was great! Now Toby and Matt are watching a movie on the couch while I clean, update the blog, etc.
Tonight we are going to a Halloween costume party in honor of Blake Babcock and Jessica Mackey (two of Matt's classmates that are getting married). Can't say I have ever been to an engagement party like this before. It is going to be so much fun! The party is being hosted by two of Matt's other classmates, Chase and Susan Lobrano. Earlier this week Matt and I made a trip to the Spirit Halloween Superstore which is located right down the road from where we live. We ended up with two good costumes but didn't have to spend a fortune. You will have to wait and see what our costumes look like when I post the pics tomorrow!
Unfortunately, Matt leaves for Jackson tomorrow. :( It is ok, though, because our weekends are booked this month. Later this week I host bunco, and then we head to Columbus next weekend for Kayla's wedding. I'm taking off work of Friday, too! Yeah!!
