Catching Up

I am so excited.  Looks like I am going to get a blog post in before the kids wake up this morning.  Charlotte attended her first day of pre-k "camp" yesterday, so she was on the extremely tired side when going to bed last night.  At about the age of one Parker decided to put himself on a good sleep schedule.  He now sleeps later in the morning (similar to his sister), and he also enjoys a solid mid-day nap.  In addition, I forgot to mention in my last post (or two) that he began walking shortly after turning 14 months.  This was about a months sooner than his sister, but because he began crawling at 6 months it felt time it took forever.

In early June we drove to Rosemary Beach, FL for a beach trip with Matt's parents.  It rained on and off, but we managed to get beach/pool time in each day.  Matt found our house online which worked perfectly.  We had to keep Parker from diving head first into the ocean.  He seemed to like the water more than the sand.  Charlotte went back and forth.  The first day we jumped over waves, and she had a blast.  She also really loved the pool.  Next year I hope to get her enrolled in more intense swimming lessons in order to get her to swimming on her own.  Here are some pictures from our trip!
