The second part of the story will help explain the first. Matt and I really did not plan on moving Charlotte to her room so soon, but we really don't have an option. First, let me explain. I have not mentioned this previously, but I am 13 weeks pregnant! Almost two weeks ago (at 11 weeks) I developed a large subchorionic hemorrhage and was put on immediate bed rest. Fortunately, Matt's parents were in town and immediately took over house chores and Charlotte duty. (Can't thank them enough!!) Over the past two weeks the hemorrhage has improved and I have since been released from the fertility specialist. Through the specialist we have received a total of seven ultrasounds over the previous 13 weeks. LOTS of appointments for me! I also have been instructed to do minimal lifting. Matt's mother left this morning which is why Charlotte is now in her bed! Also, she has not had any problems getting in and out of the car or high chair by herself. Amazing what kids can do when you give them a little freedom!
Last week we also learned that baby Fields is going to be a BOY. We underwent new genetic testing several weeks ago (all taken from my blood). The results indicate that we are low risk from a genetic standpoint, and they also revealed that the baby is a boy. It is crazy how early you can learn things these days! Below are some pictures from our appointment this past Monday. The first is traditional and the second is 3D.
