On Wednesday, March 27th, Matt and I headed to the Jackson airport for a flight to Colorado (with a stop in Dallas). Shortly after arriving at the airport we learned that our plane was having mechanical issues and that our flight would be delayed for several hours. Fortunately, the guy from American Airlines moved us to a standby flight, so we only ended up running about 2 hours behind schedule. Matt and I met up with Mom and Dad in Dallas, and all of us flew to Colorado together.
We had a great time in Colorado with all of our family. Matt's parents joined us on Thursday, and the entire crew arrived shortly after noon on Saturday. Matt and I had to leave on Easter Sunday. He began a new rotation on Monday, April 1st. I, also, had to get back to work. We pulled out of the Jackson airport at 11:00 PM Sunday night. Needless to say, it took us several days to recover!
