April Update

A full month and no update!  Whoops!  It has been a great month for us, though. We spent Saturday, April 14, in Kosciusko at the wedding of Hollee Cheek and Taylor Casey.  Unfortunately, the next day I went to upload all of my pictures from the wedding and my memory card was blank.  I don't know what happened, but I wasn't able to get them back.  So sad!

On April 15th we headed to Orlando with Mom and Dad.  Two days late Hunter and Jackie Boggs flew down from Baltimore to join us.  (Hunter and Matt were medical school roomates in Shreveport.) I uploaded some of the pictures below.  Check my facebook page if you would like to see all of them!

After a full week in Orlando we came back to Jackson and got right back to work.  The hospital is currently preparing to change over to an electronic health record (EHR), so we have both been pretty busy with training classes, etc.  Also, I am heading to Hattiesburg on Thursday to attend a graduation ceremony.  I was nominated by the Southern Miss dietetic interns as "Outstanding Preceptor of the Year"... Hope I don't have to make a speech. :)

Tennis and Junior League have also been in full swing.  Last Saturday was our Junior League retreat.  It was so much fun!  This week, also, is my last tennis match of the spring.  I am playing doubles Wednesday night.  Hope we win!

This past weekend we were in Baton Rouge for the wedding of Erin Yancey and Paul Adkins.  It was a fabulous wedding, and we had a blast seeing all of our family and friends.

Hopefully it won't take me a full month to post another update.  I am not making any promises, though!
