This is my second blog post of the night. Kind of sad, though, considering it is a Saturday night. Matt is on call at the hospital. He went in at 7 am this morning and will return home at 7 am tomorrow morning. I will be waking up about the time he gets home. Therefore, I have to get everything done around the house today so he can sleep when he gets off. It is difficult to explain. You really would need to live here to fully understand. His residency is definitely as far as you can get from an "8:00-5:00" job. More like twice that...and then some.
I have failed to mention that on July 1st Matt officially began his 2nd year of residency. That is a pretty big deal. This means his intern year has come to an end. No complaining here. We are hoping the next three pass just as fast.
Several weeks ago Ashley Rich and I hosted bunco at my house. Due to summer travels, etc, we did not have a very large turnout. We ended up with a total of six. No bunco was actually played, but we did eat and visit! :) (Probably more fun anyway.)
