Weekend in Columbus with Mom and Dad

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Matt and I returned from a quick trip to Columbus earlier this afternoon. We went for an engagement party that mom and dad helped host. We had a great time and were able to see several of our friends! (See pics below)

Matt has had a busy week. This past Thursday he drove to Houston for a medical school practical exam. It is something he is required to do before graduation. After testing all day Friday he drove to Baton Rouge to spend the night. Then Saturday morning he woke up early to drive to Columbus for the party. What a great husband!

Currently, we are counting down the days to Match Day. For those of you who do not know, this is basically the same thing as sorority/fraternity Bid Day. Same concept but on a bigger scale. A week from Thursday we will find out where Matt will be doing his next 4 years of residency. Exciting, but a little scary, too. I plan on updating as soon as we find out. (And will take plenty of pics!)
