Sorry it has been so long! Let me do my best to recap my week...
Last Friday I took off work because Thursday was my birthday. Matt is still in Jackson, so I headed that way after work so we could go out for dinner. Before dinner he gave me a BEAUTIFUL cross necklace which you can see wrapped in the picture below. (He did have a little help on the wrapping, though..Thanks Ashley!)
Friday morning Matt had to get up to go to the hospital at 6:30. I, however, was able to take my time getting dressed which is just what I did. After getting ready I headed to the new Renaissance outdoor shopping mall and then to meet Sarah and James for lunch at Newks. It was my first time to see little James, and he is just precious!
After Matt was released from work we packed the car and headed to Oxford. Yeah! After a short nap we got dressed for dinner. We had a fantastic time with Sarah/Brad and Ashley/Tom. After heading out on the square for a while we went home in order to get some rest.
Saturday involved spending time in the Grove and going to the football game. Matt and I sat with mom and dad at the game and had a great time! I liked the outcome, too! Hotty Toddy!
After the game we met up with some more friends on the square before calling it a night. Sunday morning involved eating a big breakfast and hitting the road.
Matt and I had a great weekend all around and enjoyed getting to see so many of you! Sunday night involved cleaning the house and washing clothes. Unfortunately, this morning I woke up with a case of strep throat. Fortunatly, I caught it early and was able to get on some antibiotics immediately. So, I have spent the day at home. Fortunately, I should not be contagious for much longer. Toby and I can't wait for Matt to get home next week. We miss him so much! Get ready for some Thanksigiving pics. I plan on taking quite a few this weekend!
