So, yesterday Matt left for his first "away" rotation in New Orleans. He will be there for a month and then come home for a week before heading to Jackson. It was harder to say goodbye than I thought it would be. Toby and I didn't want him to go. The good news is that I went to the grocery store, and the total was SIGNIFICANTLY less than usual. Definitely a plus. Anyway, I will be heading down to New Orleans next weekend for a visit. For those of you who do not know, it takes about 4 1/2 to 5 hours to get to New Orleans from Shreveport. (Not as close as some people think.) We'll be sure to take lots of pics for the blog. :)
Before Matt left we went to Wal-Mart to pick up some last minute items. While we were there he bought Toby a skeleton weenie dog (Halloween toy). I took some pictures and tried to attach them to this post. Well, something is obviously up with the blog system because it isn't allowing me to attach pictures. Guess I will try again later...
